Tonight I had the opportunity to travel with some of my Valencian school fellow students to a Flamenco show. Flamenco is a type of dance in which there is usually a musician (in this case, a guitarrist), singer(s) and of course the dancer(s)! Flamenco is a very beautiful dance, but the origin is argued upon. It’s very common in Valencia, and it’s beautiful because it’s so real. It can be very sad (it usually is) or happy, but its always a physical representation of the artist’s (the dancer, musician or singer’s) life story. It brought alive emotions in me, and I am so thankful to have experienced it.
