La Clase de Salsa

Hola amigos, buenas días!

It’s currently 1:29 am in America, and 8:29 am for me! Last night I went to a salsa class taught completely in Spanish. Although the instructor was an amazing teacher, I can still say that my dancing should not be seen in public!

We learned a famous salsa dance and switched partners between each line. I made new friends from Italy, Holland and Germany! We plan on practicing as a group and going to a salsa restaurant next week to show off our skills (everyone’s skills but mine lol).

After I get done with class today, I plan on going to the beach with my friend Ronetta from Texas and my friend Charlene from Zimbabwe!

As far as food goes, yesterday I went to lunch with my friend Anina from Switzerland and had fried squid! I also ate a wonderful meal with my host mom (chicken, beans and bread) and a tortillano (ham and queso jelly stuffed in a pastry). I also met a dog named Foxy, and I took a run in el jardín de toria (the biggest park in Valencia!).
